"YOG announces deal for All Yacht Magazine subscribers" - each magazine was written to separately
In recognition of the fact that YOG MARINE COMPUTERS’ products are aimed at the Superyacht sector rather than at the 12m – 20m market, YOG has announced a cut down version of its popular ENTERTAINER model for the small yacht market’s magazine subscribers.. Still supplying the TV,DVD,CD, FM RADIO leisure functions, the package still comes with the acclaimed PC Maritime Navmaster 5 software and a folio of charts. A UPS is included as well as a dedicated inverter and GPS/cable and the only difference is that a smaller INTEL processor is used, along with a smaller hard drive, along with Office XP Small Business Edition instead of Professional Edition. “Considering that we built our first YOG system in 1996 with a PII 350 processor, subscribers are still getting a fantastic deal even with a PIII Celeron processor” said Edward Pascoe, Sales Director. “We recommend that users order the vector (digital) charts format which take up much less space than the scanned Raster (ARCS) charts, in view of the smaller hard drive”, he added.
To qualify for this offer, subscribers must send in their subscription label which is found on the front of their named yacht magazine , and payment must be made by that named subscriber, YOG will register all software to that subscriber and delivery will only made to the subscriber’s home address. The product offers a saving of £499.00 excl. VAT in view of the changes, and comes complete with TFT 15 inch screen, wireless keyboard and mouse, and slimline printer for printing passage plans and weather info. This makes the package £2999.00 plus VAT
